Prior to this Abdullatif Al Mulla took the helm of Dubai Properties Group (DPG) as Group CEO, bringing with him over two decades of experience in strategic leadership. Al Mulla has held a number of senior leadership roles. He was Group CEO at TECOM Investments, part of Dubai Holding, He has also served as the General Manager of Microsoft Gulf.
Mr. Al Mulla has extensive experience in the real estate as well as IT sectors. In his nine-year stint at the Microsoft regional headquarters in Dubai, he led the development of subsidiaries in the Gulf.
Mr. Al Mulla has a Master’s in Economic and Social Development, and Public Administration, from the University of Pittsburgh, and in Corporate Communication from Duquesne University. He is and has been a board member of several prestigious organizations, including TECOM Investments, Dubai Properties, Dubai Education Council, Muscat Bank, Marfin Investment, Axiom Telecom, American University in UAE, Sheikh Hamdan Smart University, UTICO, Empower, EMS, Smart City and SHUAA Capital PSC. He was also a member of H.H. Sheikh Zayed Award for Environment Dubai Financial LLC. At Microsoft, Mr. Al Mulla has conferred the Microsoft High Distinguished President Award in 1998. He was a member of the Microsoft Middle East and Africa Leadership Program. He was also considered as one of the highest-rated General Manager in the world.
